ECCMA will certify and register that an individual is a Master Data Quality Manager and has basic knowledge about ISO 8000, ISO 22745, and how the standards can be applied to produce and identify quality data. This certification is based on the 100 series of the standard.

FOR COMPANIES

ECCMA will certify and register that a company is a Quality Data Provider and compliant with ISO 8000-110:2009 once they have proven they can send, generate and respond to queries for data. A company must also verify they can develop and publish data requirements. Lastly, in order to be certified, a company must be able to create an .idf file including a commercial ISO 8000-115 reference with a valid prefix and upload it to the eSMM.

FOR APPLICATIONS

ECCMA will certify and register that a specific version and release of a software application is compliant with ISO 8000-110:2009 by demonstrating that the application has the ability to access the eOTD® using web services and import and export Identification Guides. The application also has to be able to import and export a .idf file with a valid prefix and connect to eSMM to upload or download .idf files.

FOR COMPANIES

The ECCMA certification process validates that

• The templates are ISO 22745-30 compliant

• The Master Data complies with the templates

• Rules for generating descriptions are stated in a computer processable format

• Any generated descriptions comply with the stated rules. Specifically we verify that the data complies with the semantic encoding requirements specified by ISO 8000. We verify that the dictionary, the templates and the description rules are independent of the application or service provider.

FOR COMPANIES

ECCMA will certify and register that a Data Service Provider is compliant with ISO 8000-110:2009 by demonstrating that they have the ability to access the eOTD® using web services and import and export Identification Guides. The application must also be able to import and export master data and generate the associated queries (when appropriate).
