ECCMA, like any organization, has assets that facilitate the performance of its functions, knowledge, and technology are some of them for our organization; however, there is an asset that we recognize as the engine of our growth and development: our members.
ECCMA by definition is an organization focused on improving the quality of data shared between companies through the implementation of standards; The main objective is to offer solutions to companies and individuals in the implementation of the international standard ISO 8000 in their operation and thereby contribute to improving processes and reducing costs. Since its foundation in April 1999, ECCMA has worked to generate knowledge and tools in favor of the companies and professionals with whom it has created alliances. Undoubtedly, since its early years, the ECCMA team has worked with an orientation to the satisfaction and fulfillment of the expectations of the members, however, it was until this year 2021 when this orientation was formalized as a strategy with the creation of the Membership Relationship Management position.
This position, which I have held since February, seeks to contribute to the growth of the organization by managing the most valuable asset; the members and the relationship with them.
We recognize the trust and participation that members bring to our organization and our responsibility to maintain effective communication with them, knowing their concerns and starting from their needs for the design of our processes and development of new products.
My experience in manufacturing and supply chain companies has allowed me to recognize the challenges of this type of companies when it comes to data transfer; as well as the importance of ECCMA developments in this area.
My responsibility is to ensure that the experience of our current and potential members is satisfactory.
Since their first interaction with ECCMA until the monitoring of compliance with objectives for each project and the development of a community that works together to develop each member in their industry and their suppliers or clients. This strategy is focused on work with empathy towards our members and users, knowing their needs, and identifying promptly the areas where we can work hand in hand to offer business solutions. We recognize the importance of the new processes and technologies implementation to support these objectives.
We are interested in knowing what is happening with each of our members and their challenges, how we can collaborate in their development, and how we can make their interaction with our products and services easier.
Our challenge in the short and medium-term is to create a community with the companies and professionals with whom we work hand in hand; achieving that the knowledge and solutions developed in each project reach new people and companies and that the relationship is always of mutual benefit and growth.
