Overview

Data Quality Management Specialist (DQMS) Training and Certification equips data professionals with the fundamentals of the ISO international standards for quality data as well as supply chain interoperability and integration, and how they are used in practice to improve data portability and the accuracy of AI.

The course helps data teams focus on implementing data quality and interoperability as part of any AI-enabled automation project, and unlock strategies to remedy poor quality data to accelerate AI adoption. The goal is to improve the accuracy of master data and as a result the accuracy of AI-enabled queries.

With their new knowledge Data Quality and Data Governance professionals can ensure the impact of AI-agents deployed in enterprise systems.  The course also helps teams to break down internal data silos and improve internal business engagement by instilling the theory and practice of data governance and data quality, and best practice in data management.

Led by ECCMA Trainers with expert knowledge and experience of quality data management, the course combines teaching of data management theory and practical application of theory to common supply chain data management processes.

  • Explain ISO 8000 data quality and data portability concepts, and recognize the role of ISO 25500 supply chain interoperability, and why this matters in the application of AI technologies and impacts the accuracy of AI

  • Apply standardized templates to improve data quality, consistency, the accuracy of master data and the accuracy of AI-enabled queries

  • Identify and resolve to ISO 8000 standard common data issues such as duplicates, incomplete records, and inconsistent descriptions

  • Evaluate data and apply standards to remediate (correct) poor quality data

  • Define and enhance data governance and data quality management policy to reflect the impact of standards on AI deployment

Course Agenda

The program is structured over three days, culminating in individual Certification. It provides flexibility to address specific organizational needs.

Certification Exam

Participant assessment for Certification standard is conducted over the 3 day course. A pass rate of 80% is required for certification. Successful candidates will receive an electronic certificate.

Organizations wishing to include their company name on the certificate must validate it via an International Business Registration Number (IBRN) based on ISO 8000-116.
