Wednesday Workshop: Standards Implementation
The workshop (with ISO experts in attendance as well as a few others) on the implementation of ISO data and interoperability standards with a focus on relevant research, education, and training, including discussion on a proposed international center.

  • Where: Bethlehem Area Public Library (11 West Church Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018). In the Cohen Room, on the first floor of the library.
  • When: 9:30am to 4:00pm – an ECCMA team member will meet attendees at the host hotel at 9:20am to walk over to the library (5-minute walk from Hotel Bethlehem) or you may come to the library directly.
  • Meals: lunch, mid-morning snack, and mid-afternoon snacks will be provided to workshop attendees by ECCMA

Plenary Week attendees receive a reduced guestroom rate; this rate has a DEADLINE: 2024-05-16. Reservation requests from attendees received after this deadline date will be accepted on a space available basis at the Best Available Rate at that time.

Below is an outline of steps for attendees to book a room.

  2. Click on the RESERVATIONS or BOOK NOW button in the top right corner of the home page.
  3. Enter your arrival and departure information.
  4. One room per name (i.e. Jane Doe cannot book two different rooms under her name.)
  5. Enter your PROMO code: 375448C1115176 – you must enter this PROMO code to receive the reduced attendee rate ($229 per night) *
  6. It will return the nightly availability and the overnight room rate.
  7. Enter your credit card information to complete the booking process.
  8. You, as the attendee, will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

*RESERVATION PROBLEMS: If an attendee tries to make the reservation from the workplace or from a work computer, company firewalls may prevent the employee from using the promo code or completing the reservation at all. This may also happen on a personal computer, depending on firewalls installed.     • Rooms are available for check-in after 4:00 PM and check-out time is at 11:00 AM.
  • OVER NIGHT PARKING
    • Historic Hotel Bethlehem is pleased to offer Self-parking for overnight guests is $10.00 plus tax per night. Daytime parking is complimentary in the Hotel parking deck or in the Spring Street Lot behind the Hotel – WITH a parking pass issued by the Hotel bellman staff. The Hotel is not responsible for any parking tickets issued by the Bethlehem Parking Authority in the Spring Street Lot.
  • NO SHOW FEES
    • In the event of a “no show” or cancellation after 4:00 PM the day of arrival, the individual will be charged one night guest room fee plus all taxes.
  • GUARANTEE POLICY
    • All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card. Individual reservations must be canceled no later than 24 hours prior to intended arrival to avoid cancellation charges.
