Webinar Description

The increased complexity of business processes and the associated plant and equipment has been accompanied by a corresponding increase in the cost and specialization of the tools needed to build, operate, diagnose, fix, or maintain them. The increased cost and specialization of the diagnostic equipment and tools has resulted in the specialization of labor which increasingly becomes independent of a single business, the result is lower direct employment costs and increased service costs.

The ability of a service master to accurately describe specialized tasks and associated equipment as well as the materials consumed by the service is critical for successfully contracting for services as well as maintaining competitive pricing and the integrity of business records.

In this one-hour webinar, Peter Benson will be covering the basic principles needed to collect and maintain quality service master data. Peter will also be addressing how to work with your suppliers to build and manage a truly useful service master as a business asset.
