Overview
Procurement Data Quality Specialist (PDQS) Training and Certification equips Onboarding, Cataloging, Sourcing and Inventory management teams for peak performance in supply chain data quality.
The course is designed to increase the capability, accuracy and productivity of those involved in the creation/management of catalog items or supplier records for use in ERP or Master Data Management (MDM) systems, by embedding the fundamentals of data standardization to ISO standards (ISO 8000, ISO 25500) applied to real-world supply chain processes.
It can transform the accuracy and reliability of catalog item and supplier master data created for use within ERP or Master Data Management (MDM) systems, and accelerate related business processes (eg new item request, supplier onboarding, inventory rationalization).
Procurement Data Quality Specialist (PDQS) Training and Certification helps teams to break down internal data silos and improve supplier engagement by instilling the theory and practice of data governance and data quality, and best practice in supplier data acquisition.
Led by ECCMA Trainers with expert knowledge and experience of quality data management, the course combines teaching of data management theory and practical application of theory to common supply chain data management processes.
The course includes
- introduction to relevant international data standards (ISO) for data quality and interoperability
- real-world exercises on data management and decision-making
- use-case project work
- use of live online cataloging applications to apply learning to real-world procurement functions

Course Agenda
The program is structured over three days, culminating in individual Certification. It provides flexibility to address specific organizational needs.
Certification Exam
Participant assessment for Certification standard is conducted over the 3 day course. A pass rate of 80% is required for certification. Successful candidates will receive an electronic certificate.

Registration Process
Course materials, access to online exercises and live data management applications, and Certification resources are provided by our Trainers. Organizations wishing to include their company name on the certificate must validate it via an International Business Registration Number (IBRN) based on ISO 8000-116.

- The role and purpose of Description rules

- Verifying data with suppliers (Cataloging at Source)
- Trading partner data model
- Registration on ECCMA Online Certification platform
Phase 1 Certification questions to be completed at home in advance of Day 2 training
Day 3
- Review of Phase 1 and 2 Certification questions
- Presentation of Team Case Study Projects
