Data governance is much misunderstood. Yes, it is concerned with the system architecture and the technology used to store, handle, and safeguard data in general, but, more importantly, it is about the rules and procedures that control, “govern,” how people interact with data.
This webinar is about fundamental management principles that are independent of technology; it is a practical guide to documenting authority and responsibility as it relates to data and how to formulate policies that ensure data is accurate, up to date, and relevant.
